About me
I am Alfonso Farache, composer an multi-instrumentalist musician born in Madrid, Spain.
My particular interest for music began at an early age. I started taking percussion and drums classes being 12 years old and later on playing in several bands, most of them related to rock n roll music. Subsequently, I felt a strong attraction to song-writing, which brought me into contact with the guitar, and self-taught learning to play this instrument. At a later stage, I mainly focused on playing the piano.
At the age of 18, I decided to make a living out of Music Composition, so I began my University Degree on Contemporary Music Composition at at Rey Juan Carlos University through Centro Universitario de Artes TAI. At the same time, a growing interest in sound and music production led me to study "Music Production: Mixing and Mastering" at Escuela de Música Creativa. During this period, I started working with various Film Directors composing the music for several audiovisual projects, including the music for my first feature film.
Nowadays, I work full-time on composing music for audiovisual projects, mainly focusing in composing for TV and films.
